CSF - Mainfix conduit fittings for Mainflex corrugated tubes
Product description
Whether light barriers, inductive, capacitive or magnetic proximity sensors, sensor technology has become indispensable in many automated processes. An enormous performance and reliability of these components is a prerequisite and the environments in which sensors are used also place high demands on the sensors themselves and also on the connection cable.
Damage to the cable between the connection and the sensor can cause high costs. In addition to thermal or mechanical stress, permanent movement can also play a role here and make corresponding protective measures necessary.
The Mainfix sensor gland series, suitable for cylindrical sensors with metric design, makes this possible and ensures a visually clean solution.
Application and properties
The sensor is screwed into the connection side of the fitting, while the cable is fed directly into a flexible protective hose at the other end of the fitting.
As the gland is made of transparent polyamide, the signal status of the sensor can be recognised at any time.
The impact-resistant plastic is oil and UV-resistant and can be used in a temperature range from -40°C to +105°C and even up to +150°C for short periods.
